About Us

Mission

The purpose of the Mansfield Republican Town Committee is to promote the election of Republican candidates, to promote the principles of the Republican Party, and to cooperate in carrying out the program of the Republican State and National Committees.

Membership & Officers

The Mansfield Republican Town Committee is presently led by Chairman John McKenna, Vice Chairman John Guravage, Secretary Keith Ninesling and Treasurer Dick D'Onofrio.

Members are to be enrolled (registered) members of the Republican Party in the Town of Mansfield, who shall be elected to membership as determined by the Chairman. The Mansfield RTC presently has a full slate of 35 members, and several Associate Members. Individuals are voted into membership by the full members.

There are presently Associate Memberships available. Please e-mail us for more information.

The Mansfield RTC requires only that you be a registered Republican on file with the Town Clerk in Mansfield to apply for membership. We welcome all interested residents of Mansfield and do not discriminate by age, gender, race, creed or religion.

Meetings

State Committee organizational by-laws require meetings to take place at least four times a year. The Mansfield RTC, as a very active organization, meets frequently throughout the year for organizational purposes and for several social activities. Notices as to meeting dates and locations are posted in local newspapers and on this website.

This half-hour talk show puts the spotlight on Republican candidates and legislators in our area and statewide. Started in August 2006, the program has featured a number of Mansfield residents running for statewide office and even featured the first formal debate for area candidates. The show also invites members of the Republican Town Committee to be guests for an Open Forum segment where topics of the day are discussed & debated. Danielle Fish

Danielle is the Republican State Committeewoman for the Bristol/ Norfolk District, representing a ten town district that includes Mansfield. Residing in Mansfield for ten years now with her husband their family, she has previously served two terms on the Recreation Commission. Presently she is the Governor’s Appointee to the Mansfield Housing Authority and a member of the Mansfield Republican Town Committee. She has worked on a variety of Republican campaigns both in Massachusetts and New Jersey.

Tom Flanagan

This political veteran to GOP campaigns for the last ten years holds the added distinction of having candidate on his resume. Tom ran for the Massachusetts State Senate against Cheryl Jacques in 1996 and later served as Selectman for the Town of Millis form 1998-2001. Living in Mansfield with his wife and children, he has also served on the Industrial Development Commission and is a former Chairman of the Mansfield Republican Town Committee.
