In this section of our site, we hope to provide you with timely reports of what's going on on Beacon Hill.
Ok, yes, this is an irreverent title. But when our Legislators spend time debating the merits of fluff and whether they should ban metal basketball nets, sometimes it's deserved.
We're hoping to update this section at least on a weekly basis with a report card of sorts on what's happened on Beacon Hill the previous week and what the Legislature as a whole and what our Legislators in particular have been doing.
We really think you'll like this section. We're hoping to focus on a particular state expenditure - be it a line item, a program or an entire department - bring it to light and let you decide whether you think it's something we should all be paying for.
